RARE VINTAGE OBJET D'ART BY CARTIER. CARTIER ART DECO STYLE SILVER DISH CIRCA 1970'S, OR EARLIER. HALLMARKED "CARTIER". ACQUIRED FROM A BOCA RATON ESTATE.
 
A lux French design from Cartier featuring the French "Mains" medieval motif presented in their collections of the Art Deco period. This item is estimated as circa 1970's and has only one hallmark, "Cartier". Measures approx. 5.5 X 1.3 inches (14cm by 2cm). A tray originally high polished with the intent that the center function as a mirror (historically, Cartier crafted mirrors of this style in both gold and silver) with one of our photo images capturing this unique mirror ability in metal. Set with an oval lapis lazuli measuring approximately 21mm x 14mm. Condition is vintage with light scuffs to the metal, but overall, extremely esoteric and beautiful. We will include a red Cartier box for gifting & storage.
